“Slain” actors lay in fake blood and shattered glass in the lobby of New Westminster’s Anvil Centre last Wednesday evening during the filming of Darc, a hyper-violent gangster epic feature film starring Emmy Award-winning actor Armand Assante and an array of Japanese stars.
An indie film about human trafficking, Darc was scheduled for six weeks of shooting in the Vancouver area, followed by five days in Japan, according to PRNewswire.
Filming for the movie was set to wrap up May 20.
