"Remember, remember, the ninth of December," says local arts promoter Tony Antonias.
This Friday, Dec. 9, the New Westminster Symphony Orchestra joins forces with the Richmond Academy of Dance to present their seasonal Christmas dance and music concert at the Massey Theatre, starting at 7: 30 p.m.
"This concert is among the many festive occasions treasured by families from all over the Lower Mainland," Antonias said.
Jin "Jack" Zhang, the orchestra's music director and conductor, has arranged a program of music, song and dance to appeal to people of all ages.
Included are seasonal favourites such as Carol Festival, Roses From The South, Sleigh Ride, Selections from Tchaikovsky's Nutcracker and Christmas Festival.
Antonias urges you to come early for this festival concert of music and dance as the Massey Theatre will likely be filled to capacity.
Massey Theatre is at 735 Eighth Ave.
Admission to the concert is by donation.
