Why are you running?

We all know the troubles SD40 had the past term. There's more...

Mom made an impression...welfare mom with two kids, in subsidized housing. Dad was long gone. She went to night school, earning her diploma despite struggling to find 3 meals each day for us. I never took public education for granted.

Later, in University, I was mugged twice by youth gangs... Local government has been a passion since.

Issues:

1.     Completed new high school (for real).

2.     Dietary issues: meal availability, allergies.

3.     Public education encouraging trades, alternate learning while valuing creative spark.
