A person is in the hospital with life-threatening injuries after a collision in Surrey, B.C.
Surrey RCMP responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision at 3:41 p.m. at the intersection of 184 Street and 32 Avenue on Oct. 27.
The driver of the Nissan in the collision sustained life-threatening injuries and was transported to the hospital, according to Sgt. Shawn Teichrieb.
The investigation is in the early stages and police are working to determine all of the factors that led to the crash.
Surrey RCMP’s Criminal Collision Investigation Team and the Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) have been called out to investigate.
ICARS is responsible for the forensic reconstruction of collisions that result in serious injury or death between Pemberton and Boston Bar.

This was the second serious collision on Sunday. Earlier in the day a person died in Surrey after a crash involving a vehicle and pedestrian.
