A Metro Vancouver is half a million dollars richer after playing BCLC's Mega Jackpots® Golden Goddess.
Sandeep Pamma was tucking his daughter into sleep when he received a notification. BCLC's PlayNow informed him he had won the jaw-dropping $535,458.54 jackpot.
The Surrey man called BCLC to confirm his winnings.
“I decided to call BCLC and had a conversation with them. They confirmed that I won! I had no reaction for five seconds and my legs were shaking.”
Pamma wasn't ready to share the news with his wife until he saw the money in the account. Once it was there, he told her about the good news.
“Her first words were, ‘Are you crazy?’ Then she cried and hugged me and told me that she deserves a lot of gifts!”
The winner plans on taking his family to the Happiest Place on Earth, Disneyland, with the prize money. He also plans to celebrate soon with loved ones.
