We're continuing with our popular feature our staff's Top 5 (Or More) Things To Do This Weekend. This issue, we have the Hyack festival finale, a perogy dinner and free help with job hunting and speaking English.

1 The annual Hyack Festival wraps up this weekend, and there are events on Saturday and Sunday.

The Hyack International Parade is on Saturday, May 26, starting at 11 a.m. in uptown New Westminster.

Uptown Live!, which features live entertainment on four stages centered around Sixth Street and Sixth Avenue. The shows run from 12: 30 until 5 p.m., also on Saturday.

On Sunday, the festival concludes with heritage home tours from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. For more info, go to www.hyack.bc.ca.

2 Get fed at the Ukrainian Perogy supper on Friday, May 25, at the Holy Eucharist church hall at the corner of Fourth Avenue and Fifth Street.

All of the food is homemade by the church members. There are cabbage rolls, perogies, borscht and burgers. The dinner runs from 5 to 8 p.m., and perogies are on sale from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Proceeds go to the church. For info, call 604-526-0988 or 604936-8301.

3 Get help with your jobhunting skills on Friday, May 25 at a free MOSAIC workshop at the New Westminster Public Library from 1 to 4 p.m. The workshop focuses on selfconfidence and how to have a successful job interview.

The session is conducted in English with Spanish translation available. The library is at 716 Sixth Ave. and is wheelchair accessible. For info/registration, call MOSAIC at 604-522-3722, ext. 155.

4 The library is holding free drop-in conversation circles for people wanting to practise their English skills. There's a women only session on Fridays at 10 a.m., and kids are welcome. There are also Saturday sessions at 10: 30 a.m. for all adults. The library is at 716 Sixth Ave.

5 Seize the Day! on Saturday, May 26 at the Massey Theatre with the Maple Leaf Singers.

The show chorus runs through a number of musical eras and genres, including pop, gospel, swing, folk and jazz. For the Saturday show, the group will sing Glory, Glory Hallelujah, Can't Fight This Feeling, Four Strong Winds, Anything Goes, Rock the Boat, Time Warp and more.

Tickets are $24 for adults and $20 for seniors, including service charges.
