Julie Ramirez recently announced that she is resigning from her position as marketing director at the River Market.
"Working for River Market has been a won-derful experience," she wrote in an email goodbye. "I feel privileged to have been part of such a wonderful community and will miss you all."
Ramirez said she "appreciated" the professional and personal growth opportunities she had over the two years she spent at the market.
She is moving on to a marketing position with a nutrition company in Langley. The job move means she'll be closer to home and offers an opportunity for Ramirez to further her career goals, she wrote.
"I will sadly miss the community of New Westminster but will be back as a visitor. There are far too many interesting things happening in this city to stay away too long."
