A recent gathering in Queensborough was fit for royalty.
Judy Calhoun reports that the Princess Party in the Park that was held on July 6 at Thompson’s Landing in Queensborough was a great success.
“We had crown making, creativity centre, face painting, origami, spin the wheel for a prize, dress up and Princess Yoga by Nyssa,” she said in an email to the Record. “The entire event was free due to a generous donation from the Vancouver Foundation through Family Services.”
Volunteers from Job’s Daughters Bethel 22 and New Westminster Youth Ambassadors also helped out at the event, while Kane Tse photographed all the action.
