Treasure hunters will want to head to Century House on Saturday for the return of its popular bazaar.
Volunteers have been busy accepting, organizing and pricing donations for the sale that’s being held on Saturday, June 3 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at 620 Eighth St.
Along with handmade arts and crafts, baked goods and plants, shoppers will also find a wide variety of secondhand treasures including quilts, tools, collectibles, electronics, jewelry, art and books at the bazaar.
People are asked to bring their own bag to the event. Cash, credit and debit cards (minimum card purchase price is $15) are accepted.
If you work up an appetite shopping for new-to-you treasures, you’re welcome to dine at the Century House Café or grab a bite to eat from Marvin’s Falafel Food Truck.
Do you have items to donate? Community members still have time to drop off donations for the bazaar at Century House. Donations can be dropped off Thursday, June 1 from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Friday, June 2 from 9 a.m. to noon.
The sale raises funds for the Century House Association, a registered charitable organization that supports the many activity groups, services and events that enhance participation for members of Century House.
