An animated evening at the New Westminster Public Library, when the library celebrates its own Animation Day, 7 p.m. A selection of animated short films will entertain you and offer an appreciation of the wonderful creativeness and extraordinary range of techniques that go into animation.  Pre-register by phone at 604-527-4667 or email at [email protected]. Travel show in New Westminster Public Library, take an armchair trip to Tuscany when Glenn Marcus shows the photographs of his travels through the countryside and towns of this romantic area of Italy, 2:30 p.m. The travel shows are co-sponsored by the University Women's Club of New Westminster and the library and are held in the library's auditorium at 716 Sixth Ave. The library is wheelchair accessible.
