Love art? New West Artists are inviting everyone to pop in to their gallery on 12th Street for an open house next weekend.
The gallery is hosting an open house on Sunday, July 7 from 1 to 5 p.m.
Visitors will be able to browse art of all kinds for sale – watercolours, acrylics, oils, mixed media, photography, jewelry, fabric art, beadwork – and enjoy some food, drinks and music. The gallery also offers a variety of inexpensive gift ideas including art cards, magnets and “petite art” for tiny spaces.
Some of the group’s member artists will be on hand, and visitors can also get information about the range of offerings at the gallery – which includes art drop-ins, a life drawing group, open mic sessions, poetry readings, paint nights, art demos, workshops and more.

If you can’t make the open house, you’re welcome to stop in at any time during gallery hours; it’s open regularly from Thursday through Sunday, noon to 6 p.m.
