Here’s a fun night out for the arty types.
The New West Artists Gallery is continuing its Cat Musings Reading Series with a variety open mic on Wednesday, Sept. 18 from 7 to 9 p.m. Janene White will host the night, which features Richard Kelly Kemick and Enrico Renz.
Kemick is an award-winning Canadian poet, journalist and fiction writer; Renz is a “one-man band” who sings and plays guitar, bass, keyboards and drums.
Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and everyone is welcome. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
It takes place at the gallery at 712C 12th St., next to Renaissance Books. The Cat Musings series is run in partnership by Renaissance Books, New West Artists and the Royal City Literary Arts Society.
