Douglas College has landed a spot on Forbes magazine's annual Canada's best employers 2023 list.
On Jan. 25, Forbes, in partnership with Statistica Inc., released its list of top 300 Canadian employers in 2023, based on a survey of 12,000 Canadians working for companies and institutions with at least 500 employees. The rankings were based on the likelihood of recommending the participants' current employer and/or other employers.
Douglas College, whose main campus is in New West, ranked 73rd out of 300 organizations from 25 different industries, landing on the list along with 22 other Metro Vancouver employers.
The college, which employs about 960 people in various departments, made the list for the fourth consecutive year.
Douglas College educates more than 25,000 students every year at its New West campus, its second major campus in Coquitlam and smaller training centres in Burnaby, Surrey and Maple Ridge.
