New West eateries will be soon be serving up mouth-watering menus featuring items including steak and lobster, chile relleno, butter chicken, pizza, pasta and souvlaki as part of Dine Out 2024.
Along with some returning favourites, there are a couple of new additions to this year’s Dine Out Vancouver lineup in New West. Running from Jan. 17 to Feb. 4, Canada’s largest celebration of food and drink returns to showcase the offerings of participating restaurants, breweries and wineries.
Five New West businesses are participating in this year’s Dine Out program: The Boathouse Restaurant; el Santo; Ginos; Howe Sound Brewing; and River’s Reach.
- Boathouse Restaurant (900 Quayside Dr.) is serving a three-course dinner, including dinner rolls and butter, for $65.
- El Santo (680 Columbia St.) is serving a three-course dinner (appetizer, entrée and dessert) for $50.
- Ginos (431 East Columbia St.) is offering brunch, lunch and dinner menus ranging from $20 to $35.
- Howe Sound Brewing (411 Columbia St.) is offering a three-course dinner menu for $40. (It’s available on a walk-in-only basis, with first come, first served.)
- River’s Reach Pub (320 Sixth St.) is offering a $30 menu (available for lunch or dinner) that includes an appetizer, entrée and dessert.
Launched in 2002, Dine Out Vancouver was created as a way of enticing diners to check out restaurants at a time of the year when business is typically slow, by providing fixed-priced menus. It’s grown from 57 restaurants in its first year to become Canada’s largest food and drink festival more than 300 restaurants, wineries, craft breweries.
