Summer's almost here, and so are the $1.80s at New Westminster gas stations.

The cheapest fuel in the city is $1.91 per litre at the Esso and 7-Eleven on Sixth Avenue, as of this publication, May 24, according to GasBuddy.com's latest report (see list below).

The station also recorded the biggest local drop of nine cents from $2 per litre last Friday, May 17.

It's also the third least expensive price for gas in Metro Vancouver. Richmond's Petro Canada on Williams Road has posted a price of $1.89 per litre.

New West's average price for gas is currently $1.93 per litre, which is a five-cent drop from the previous median of $1.98 per litre.

Meanwhile, one gas station in all of B.C. is selling fuel for less than $1.60 per litre.

Once again, Quesnel's Super Save Gas (914 Front St.) remains unchanged as the province's least expensive price for gas at $1.59 per litre

Outlets in Salmon Arm, Prince George, West Kelowna and Kamloops make up the rest of the top 10 cheapest prices, for now, ranging from $1.62 to $1.66 per litre.
