New Westminster motorists will be able to fill up their vehicle's gas tank for decent prices ahead of the weekend.
All nine fuel stations in the city are offering less than $1.80 per litre, as of this publication, June 7, according to GasBuddy.com's latest report (see list below).
The cheapest available is currently $1.71 per litre at the Centex and GOMarket on Ewen Avenue.
That's 20 cents less compared to where prices were two weeks ago — $1.91 per litre.
It's also the third least expensive price for gas in Metro Vancouver, five cents behind Richmond's Petro Canada on Williams Road has posted a price of $1.66 per litre.
New West's average price for gas is currently $1.78 per litre.
Meanwhile, believe it or not there are gas stations across B.C. that are offering less than $1.60 per litre.
The cheapest in the province is currently $1.51 per litre at the Central Avenue Super Save Gas in Grand Forks — roughly 500 km east of New Westminster.
