Did you see any white stuff this morning?
While not all parts of Metro Vancouver saw snowfall Wednesday morning, a few places at higher elevations saw some frosty stuff on the ground. At lower elevations, some video recording shows a mix of rain and wet snow, but it didn't stick on the ground.
Today, the forecast calls for snowfall over higher with accumulations of up to 4 cm by early this afternoon. For other areas of the Lower Mainland, periods of rain are expected to end later this afternoon followed by a mix of sun and cloud.
There is no more snow in the forecast later tonight or tomorrow.
Last night, Environment Canada called for up to 2 cm of snowfall at places with higher elevations, such as Simon Fraser University, to accumulate by this morning.
Several people took to social media today to share snaps of places with a modest amount of snowfall around Metro Vancouver.

Oh my God it finally happened! It's like 99.8% rain drops. But if you look very closely you will see white flakes mixing in. First time all season here in East Van near PNE! #BCstorm pic.twitter.com/IqHxXkd5Ry
