If you’ve ever wanted to meet Pikachu, here’s your chance.
A photo shoot with the popular Pokémon character is just one of the things happening at Connaught Heights Elementary School’s spring carnival – its first since the pandemic. It’s on Friday, June 3 from 5 to 8 p.m. at 2201 London St.
Other highlights of the carnival include games, a dunk tank, a Royal City Cheer performance, a visit from a fire truck, a performance by the New Westminster Secondary School marching band, face painting and balloon twisting.
Prizes, a 50/50, and food and snacks round out what’s sure to be a fun night.
Money raised at the spring carnival funds the Connaught Heights PAC, which brings in special educational guests, and supports books, performances, sports programs and – eventually – field trips for the students.
