If you’re missing a roof-top tent, you may want to check with the New Westminster Police Department.

New West police officers are looking to reunite a roof-top tent with its rightful owner. The tent, which is Cap-it brand, was found on June 11 and brought to the New Westminster Police Department.

“Camping season is here, and someone is missing a tent,” NWPD Sgt. Andrew Leaver said in a news release. “The rightful owner is likely very eager to get their tent back so we hope the off-roading and camping communities can help us connect with that person.”

If you believe this tent is yours, call the New Westminster Police Department at 604-525-5411 and reference file 24-9798.

This isn’t the first time New West police have reached out to the community to try to reunite found items with their owners.

In May, police sought the public’s help in finding the owner of a coin collection that had been handed in to the police department; in January, the NWPD sought the public’s help in trying to locate the owner of a photo album that had been turned into the police station.
