A troupe of young dancers based in Burnaby were on stage and in the spotlight at Disneyland Resorts recently.
Darcelle's Dancers, based on North Road in Burnaby, has been training young dancers for more than 25 years and have performed in the past in Hawaii, Las Vegas, Mexico and other destinations.
The group, made up of dancers from Burnaby, New Westminster, Coquitlam, Port Moody and further afield, travelled down to southern California at the start of July to take part in the Disney Performing Arts Program at Disney's California Adventure in Anaheim.
The program, which has been running for more than two decades, brings dance groups, choirs, marching bands and other performers into Disneyland or Walt Disney World Resorts, to perform for park guests.
