The Fraser River Discovery Centre hosted a special Halloweekend event this past weekend, welcoming kids and families to enjoy some spooky fun.
The event, which ran Oct. 29 and 30, included a haunted house featuring some scary invasive species, an assortment of kid-friendly activities and some extra seasonal learning — including information on the stages of pumpkin decomposition.
Kids came decked out in costumes, and photographer Jennifer Gauthier was there to capture the fun. Check the gallery above for some highlights.
The program was part of the Discovery Centre's Super Saturday series, which features monthly events and activities that explore different aspects of the Fraser River. To keep an eye on what's coming up next, be sure to check out the Fraser River Discovery Centre website.
