As new temperature records were set around B.C. over the weekend, New Westminster residents found a variety of ways to beat the heat.
Photographer Jennifer Gauthier caught up with energetic local folks taking part in a HUB New Westminster community bike ride, found the New West firefighters out handing out water at the New West SkyTrain station and found a local family taking advantage of the heat to dip their toes into the Brunette River.
