Suspect charged in connected to alleged stabbing in New West in October

New Westminster Police have announced a suspect has been charged in connection to a stabbing in October.

A 30-year old man has been charged in Connection to an alleged stabbing in New West in October.

According to the New Westminster Police Department, three people were allegedly stabbed on Oct. 26. Following a NWPD investigation, a suspect was charged with three counts of aggravated assault on Dec. 5.

In a news release, the New Westminster Police Department said Parmir Singh Sahota, 30, was released with “strict conditions” and will make his next appearance on this matter on Dec. 18 at the New Westminster Law Courts.

None of the allegations have been proven in court.

The New Westminster Police Department was unable to provide additional details because of a publication ban.
