New Westminster is in for a pleasant, springlike week — but get ready for some more summer temperatures after that.
It's a mild 13 C in New West now (as of about 8 a.m. on Monday, May 29), with the day's high projected to reach 20 C. It'll continue to be mainly sunny, though some cloudy periods may move in this afternoon.
That weather pretty much sets the tone for the rest of the week, according to the Weather Network's forecast, which calls for mainly sunny weather for most of the week. Tuesday and Wednesday should see highs of 18 C, while it'll reach 17 C on Thursday and 20 C on Friday.
The first chance of a shower is on Saturday, when the temperature is projected to hit 19 C.
That's when things look likely to start warming up, as Sunday's outlook calls for sunny skies and a high of 22 C that feels like 23 C; by Monday, that's up to a high of 26 C that feels like 29 C.
