Surveillance footage taken from a business along Royal Avenue captured a two-car collision Monday morning.
The video appears to show one vehicle running a red light at Royal Avenue and 10th Street and striking a vehicle travelling west on Royal Avenue.
Marie Jang, who owns a business on Royal Avenue, discovered the footage after a neighbouring business owner asked if she had any video of the scene.
The crash happened shortly after 5:30 a.m. on Monday, May 7.
Details of the collision have not been confirmed by police. Calls to the New Westminster Police Department have yet to be returned.
