What would you do with an extra $40,000?
You could find out soon – and help some health-care workers along the way.
The Royal Columbian Hospital Foundation is holding its final public 50-50 lottery of the year, and tickets are available now.
Last June, Calvin Parsons took home $37,955, and in September, Don McLaren won $47,395.
"The winner takes half the jackpot, which has now surpassed $40K. Every ticket sold increases the jackpot even more," the foundation noted in an email.
Tickets are 10 for $10, 50 for $20, and 200 for $40, and you can buy them online.
