Another successful 12th Street Music Festival is complete, and to the many volunteers, sponsors and participants that made this happen; a warm and gracious thank you from the West End Business Association. These local events can not happen without your tireless efforts and contributions.
Twelfth Street has come a long ways since I first moved into this neighbourhood 16 years ago, yet we cannot let our guards down and allow a relapse back to the problems that existed then. I would never have contemplated opening a business on the street back then, but I am proud to be a part of this funky and diverse business corridor in this very desirable city.
Buy local when you can and rediscover, as thousands did last Sunday, the 12th Street and 20th Street merchants.
