Dear Editor:
I'm really happy to see movement and progress on the Columbia fire site. I know several owners of shops who lost everything in that unfortunate event and this now gives them some closure.
An opportunity to move forward and pick up the pieces is a healthy step to new growth.
The last six months have been challenging for everyone in New Westminster, and I feel, in a way, this will give our community something positive to anticipate for the upcoming months of growth, rebuilding, and a stronger sense of kinship and support.
