Grateful to attendants

Dear Editor:

My name was Ruth Jenks. (It is now Mrs. Ruth Abel.) I had to take an ambulance to the hospital when I was pregnant, as I was hemorrhaging. The two ambulance attendants were very kind to me and paid no mind to the fact that their freshly cleaned and very white uniforms were being bloodied.

One of them came to the hospital where I was at after having given birth to my daughter, Kathy. He brought flowers and said I was the first person he had ever driven in his ambulance who prayed and sang the whole time through.

I would like to see or hear from you (and your partner) again! It was very kind and a nice surprise, and I have never forgotten you. I hope you read this note in remembrance and contact me:
