Dear Editor:
I send deserved congratulations and a sincere thank you to Dawn Black upon her retirement.
Few are willing or able to make the sacrifice to move from voter-observer, to candidate and political office holder, and to accommodate the personal criticism and loss of privacy that public office brings.
From one who knows what it takes, I give my unqualified best wishes. Thank you Dawn, for your many years of dedicated service to our community.
