Excellent letter from Bill Davis regarding the soaring violent crime rate in our cities.
With our civic election coming up in the fall, I am once again pleading with New Westminster residents not to vote for any city council/mayoral candidates who want to defund or hamper our police services in any way, shape or form.
If you don't already know which candidates are anti-police, please ensure you attend the all-candidates meetings when they happen and ask each and every candidate if they have ever supported defunding the police department in the past or intend to in the future.
