Letter: Pigeons don't know any better, but people should

Irena Kozakova wrote an honest letter which I totally agree with.

People cause much more waste than animals, who don't know any better.  Just look around wherever you go these days:  the ever-present cigarette butts are everywhere, discarded masks are thrown on the ground, single-use bus tickets are discarded.  

This is 100 per cent preventable, and as a side note, single-use masks are supposed to have the straps cut off before throwing in the garbage so animals won't get entangled in them.
