Ryan Dang’s letter is a veiled argument for “smart meters” to be installed here in New West.
In reality, we would all pay hundreds of dollars more a year indefinitely moving forward if New West Electrical was to go in this direction.
I fail to see how the “convenience” of reading my bill and monitoring my electrical use is worth hundreds of dollars more a year. Here’s an idea — if you think it uses electricity, turn it off! No monitoring needed.
