Dear Editor:
It really doesn't matter to me about all the politics in changing the Hyack Festival name, but what does bother me is "New West." Where is that place? Our city is the City of New Westminster. Period!
It bothers me that the media and many others shorten our city's name, and we should not. It is New Westminster, and let's leave it at that. Festivals New West does absolutely nothing for me.
