Moody Park and Hume Park pools may just be calling your name.

Summer sun: Hume Park Pool was a popular spot last weekend — and this weekend promises more good swimming weather.

Have you taken a dip in one of the city's outdoor pools yet this summer?

If you haven't — or, for that matter, if you have — this weekend offers the promise of some more good swimming weather, with hot and sunny temperatures expected to last for the next several days.

The Weatherhood local forecast for New Westminster is calling for a high of 25 C today (Thursday, July 26), creeping up to 26 C for Friday, with sunny skies and some cloud both days.

The weekend temperature is expected to drop a little, hitting a high of 24 C on both Saturday and Sunday, but a warming trend looks to start again in the early part of next week — with a high of 27 C predicted by next Wednesday.
