Police are asking people who were on a trail in Langley who might have witnessed a crime to come forward.
Langley RCMP officers responded to a report of a man committing an indecent act while on a trail.
The alleged incident occurred around 4:20 p.m. on April 5 in the 5600-block of 211 Street, which is also near a residential area.
Sgt. Zynal Sharoom said several key witnesses left the area before police arrived.
"We’re asking those individuals to come forward and speak with investigators," said Sharoom. "Their information could be crucial to advancing the investigation."
A 36-year-old Langley man was arrested in connection to the alleged incident.
