Whether you want to relax or get moving, there's something for you to do this weekend in New Westminster. Here's our staff's Top 5 (Or More) Things To Do This Weekend for Jan. 13 to 15:

Get entertained at the Dance With Me Studio open house, which takes place on Saturday, Jan. 14 from noon to 2 p.m. The open house takes place at the studio's new location, which is found at 230-50 Lorne St. (behind Douglas College). For more information, call 604-521-2772 or visit www.dancewithmenewwest.com.

Get inspired at the Dappled exhibition featuring paintings by Richard Alm at the Amelia Douglas Gallery at the Douglas College campus in New Westminster. The gallery is open Monday to Friday (10 a.m. to 7: 30 p.m.) and Saturday (11 a.m. to 4 p.m.). The Dappled exhibit runs until Feb. 17. Call 604-527-523 or email [email protected].

Get pampered by treating yourself to a therapeutic massage at the West Coast College of Massage Therapy, which is offering a two-for-one clinic special for the new year. The deal, which is being offered until Saturday, Feb. 25, is valid for two morning appointments (before 12: 15 p.m.) for the price of one, and is good Monday through Thursday. The offer has been extended to all day on Thursdays and Saturdays. To book an appointment, call the clinic receptionist at 604-520-1830. The West Coast College of Massage, located at 613 Columbia St., provides training in massage therapy and esthetics.

Get rid of the January blues by checking out the comedy at Lafflines Comedy Club. Burnaby's Ardell Brophy-Fitzpatrick (The Lady with the Oxygen Tank) will get the crowd revved up for headliner Matt Davis on Friday, Jan. 13. Doors open at 8: 30 p.m., and the show gets underway at 9: 30 p.m. Tickets are $18. Call 6045252262 to reserve. Lafflines is located at 530 Columbia St. in the Columbia Theatre.

Get supportive by cheering for swimmers who are competing in the Hyack Icebreaker swim meet, which is being held at Canada Games Pool on Jan. 14 and 15. The event, one of the Hyack Swim Club's signature meets, will see competition take place on Saturday from about 2: 45 p.m. to 7: 30 p.m. and on Sunday from about 9 a.m. to 1: 30 p.m.
