Fridays on Front
Travel back in time at this week’s Fridays on Front street party – its theme is Retro 80s and 90s Rewind. Attendees will be treated to tunes by DJ Ice B and Big Bone Brass Band, food trucks, beverage vendors, children’s activities and more.

Saturday, July 20
Summer Night Market
Stroll along the waterfront and shop in a scenic setting when the New West Craft Summer Night Market returns to town. It features more than 60 vendors, live music, food and more.

Take It to The Limit
Enjoys some classic rock when Take It to The Limit, a tribute to the Eagles, takes to the local stage. The band will perform Eagles’ hits, including Hotel California, Heartache Tonight, Peaceful Easy Feeling, Take It to The Limit, Desperado, Life in The Fast Lane, Take It Easy, Lyin’ Eyes, and more.

Hangouts and Hidden Histories: Carnarvon Street
Learn about duels fought over historic women, stand at the edge of the Great Fire, imagine New West’s historic Chinatowns, and recognize where institutions changed this place forever – it is all part of a heritage walk along Carnarvon Street led by City of New Westminster heritage staff.

Rockstars of Queensborough
Celebrate the fifth anniversary of the Queensborough Rock Garden by painting rocks to add to the garden and to take home. All supplies are provided at this event, which is hosted by Rock Art Canada.

Arts To Go
Take part in a free multi-sensory outdoor art workshop where you create art using all of your senses. No artistic experience is required for this fun and inclusive workshop that’s open to folks of all ages and abilities. Led by artist Jag Nagra, Arts New West, and Blind Beginnings, participants will be able to explore and create art using a variety of materials and textures that engage the senses. The event also features live music.

Artist Talk with Cedar Sage & Sweetgrass
