The Massey Theatre is continuing its month-long celebration of Métis culture with an exhibition at Plaskett Gallery.

Métis Pairing, featuring the artwork of Nicci Battilana and Monique Hurteau, is on at the gallery until Oct. 25.

The exhibition, presented in partnership with Savage Society, highlights two local Indigenous artists who work in an eclectic variety of mediums and styles.

“The vibrant exhibition combines and exciting array of colours, forms and textures to create a stunning visual feast which will shatter preconceived notions about Métis art and expression,” says a press release.

Want to check it out? The Plaskett Gallery is open Tuesday to Saturday from 1 to 5 p.m. and during all performances at Massey Theatre (735 Eighth Ave.). Check out www.masseytheatre.com for more details.
