An Emmy-, Grammy- and Golden Globe-nominated performer is taking to the stage at Massey Theatre this spring as part of her North American tour.
Actor-singer-songwriter Mandy Moore is on tour for the first time in a decade, and she’s onstage in New Westminster on May 4.
Moore first came to national attention with her platinum-selling debut album So Real in 1999. She followed that up with I Wanna Be With You in 2000 and a self-titled third album in 2001.
Then, in 2002, she starred in the film adaptation of Nicholas Sparks’ A Walk to Remember, winning an MTV Movie Award for Breakthrough Female Performance.
Over the next decade. Moore appeared in a dozen films and released a series of celebrated albums: Coverage (2003), Wild Hope (2007) and Amanda Leigh (2009).
She’s also known to Disney fans as the voice of Rapunzel in the movie Tangled (2010).
Since 2016, Moore has been in the small-screen spotlight as matriarch Rebecca Pearson in the critically acclaimed NBC series This Is Us, a role that has earned her both Emmy and Golden Globe nominations. She also appeared in the Roland Emmerich feature film Midway alongside Woody Harrelson.
Two singles from her forthcoming album Silver Landings have been released – When I Wasn’t Watching and I’d Rather Lose.
