Steel & Oak Brewing Co. is inviting music lovers, vinyl collectors, and craft beer enthusiasts to a two-day celebration of sound and community.
The New West-based craft brewery is hosting its annual Analog Vinyl Record Fair on Saturday, Nov. 30 and Sunday, Dec. 1. This year’s fair will be held at Steel & Oak in New Westminster, where the brewery will create a cozy indoor space for guests to connect over music and discover unique records from a wide range of genres.
“It’s a welcoming space where casual conversations spark over shared music finds, creating a unique, immersive experience that celebrates both records and community,” said Jordan Brett of Steel & Oak Brewing Co. “The atmosphere is laid-back yet vibrant, with live DJs providing an exciting soundtrack to the event.”
Since it began in 2016, the Analog Vinyl Record Fair has sought to bring together the local music and vinyl community for a one-of-a-kind experience.
On Saturday, Nov. 30, local DJs from BSide Radio will set the tone with all-vinyl sets, creating the perfect soundtrack for folks to browse and connect with other music enthusiasts.
Sunday’s offerings will include a “bring your own vinyl” session, where guests are invited to share a side of their favourite record or spin their latest finds on the brewery’s turntables. A raffle being held on Sunday will offer attendees a chance to win a gift card to a local record shop and prizes from Steel & Oak.
“Our DJs will be playing a range of classic hip hop, soul, cult cinema classics and deep soundtracks Jazz funk and modern jazz,” Brett said. “Records available for sale will range from alternative, punk, heavy metal, to jazz, funk and folk. Lots of varied styles of music will be on offer.”
Steel & Oak invites community member to explore a carefully curated selection of vinyl treasures—from classic albums to niche genres and underground hits—at the family-friendly event. Attendees aged 19 and older will receive $1 off a glass of beer with any record purchase.
Steel & Oak aims to provide a memorable kickoff to the holiday season at this year’s Analog Vinyl Record Fair.
“Analog has become a highlight for us and the New West community each year,” Brett said. “It’s a celebration of music, beer, and local culture, bringing people together for an experience that goes beyond record collecting. We look forward to welcoming everyone for a weekend of great sounds and even better connections.”
Steel & Oak Brewing Co. is located at 1319 Third Ave. There’s no admission to the fair, which runs from noon to 5 p.m. on Nov. 30 and Dec. 1.
