Browns Socialhouse will be opening a new restaurant at the Brewery District project in Sapperton.
"Browns Socialhouse offers guests a hybrid experience that bridges the gap between upscale casual dining and a neighbourhood pub, and is a welcome addition to the high-quality services and amenities at the Brewery District," Peeter Wesik, chairman and president of Wesgroup Properties said in a press release.
"The well planned Brewery District is the perfect home for our next Lower Mainland Browns Socialhouse," added Scott Morison, franchisor of Browns Socialhouse.
Morison said franchise partners Todd Shelly and Craig Lust will be operating the New Westminster location, having five years experience with Browns and currently operating Browns locations in Surrey and Richmond.
The new restaurant will be located on East Columbia Street on the ground floor of the newly constructed, mixed-use building and will feature 93 seats inside and 56 seats outside on the open air patio, which will feature a fire pit and comfy couches for an eclectic lounge feeling.
The new Browns Socialhouse at Brewery District is expected to open in mid-2013.
