In the lead-up to the April 28 federal election, Burger Heaven restaurant is once again giving diners an opportunity to vote — with their mouths. Here are the latest bun-official results of the local eatery’s burger poll.
- The Mark Carney Burger (Liberals): 45 per cent
- The Pierre Poilievre Burger (Conservatives): 21 per cent
- The Jagmeet Singh Burger (NDP): 14.5 per cent
- The Elizabeth May/Jonathan Pedneault Burger (Green): five per cent
- The Yves-Francois Blanchet Burger (Bloc Québécois): four per cent
- Bun-decided Burger: 10.5 per cent
How does Burger Heaven’s bun-official poll stack up against other polls?
On April 14, the Angus Reid Institute released the finding of its latest polling.
Like the New West restaurant’s poll, 45 per cent of respondents said they would be supporting the Liberals. The national poll showed that 39 per cent of respondents were planning to vote Conservative, seven per cent were going to vote NDP, and seven per cent this week were casting a vote for the Bloc Québécois.
