New Westminster gas prices are back at mid-summer levels as November comes to a close.
The cheapest available is listed at $1.71 per litre at the Centex and GOMarket on Ewen Avenue — the same as did in the middle of June.
That's the fifth least expensive price for fuel in all of Metro Vancouver, as of this publication, Nov. 29, according to GasBuddy.com's latest report (see list below).
However, it appears local motorists will be paying within the same price range.
New West's most expensive gas price is currently $1.76 per litre, which is two cents above the average of $1.74 per litre.
Meanwhile, two gas stations in Kimberley are boasting B.C.'s most affordable fuel.
The Kootenay region community is selling gas for $1.44 per litre at its Centex and Esso outlets — more than 850 km east of New Westminster.
The Centex in nearby Cranbrook has a price listed at $1.45 per litre.
The cheapest station within driving distance of New West is the Super Save Gas stop on 200 Street in Langley at $1.67 per litre.
