Letter: Challenge to change BC Conservative Party's ballot name a 'desperate' move

This letter writer asks what business does the BC NDP have in requesting a name change of another party?

Re: Rob Shaw: The BC NDP should withdraw their court challenge of Elections BC (Oct. 7, 2024)

The Premier of British Columbia is attempting to force the Conservatives to call themselves the Conservative Party of B.C.

First of all, there is no patent on the word "Conservative."

And we all know who we are, so what business is it of David Eby's?

Secondly, the B.C. NDP does not advertise themselves as the B.C. Provincial NDP.

They simply go by the name "NDP," even though the NDP itself has federal as well as provincial connections, but simply call themselves the NDP across the country.

And finally, how desperate can the David Eby NDP get?

Thank you.
