Re: New West councillor 'in the dark' about mayor’s trip to Dubai (Jan. 11, 2024)

I want to thank Coun. Daniel Fontaine for pursuing the matter of accountability of Mayor Patrick Johnstone and his trip to Dubai.

With our property taxes and utility bills increasing significantly, it is important that taxpayers are informed of these matters.

As we put our trust in our cities' leaders to be fiscally responsible, accountability is the way this trust is maintained.
