Re: Letter: Former B.C. premier's housing remarks 'a distraction,' New West mayor says (Oct. 14, 2024)

Don't forget Jim Pattison and Expo86 — inviting the world when we had the equivalent of a one-bedroom and bathroom apartment to offer.

With the entire Lower Mainland a building site, the livability of this once "sane" and simple land is gone forever.

No more building permits for the advertised "town site(s)," advertise instead that we are "full up."

And, just like a full rush-hour bus, you must not stop here but move to Prince George or Regina, Sask.

Politicians need to stop holding the door open, stop pointing fingers at past mistakes and cease creating new ones.

Stop the building madness.
