A 47-year-old B.C. man is wanted by police for a series of charges that includes five counts of breaching his release order.
Timothy Dale Bornyk is all too familiar with the offence as he's been previously charged for the same crime out of New Westminster.
Efforts to find Bornyk have come up short, and now, Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers is reaching out to the public in hopes of finding him.
He's also currently wanted for assault with a weapon, dangerous operation of a conveyance and flight from police. Bornyk's warrant was issued Monday, Sept. 18 out of Surrey.
Bornyk has a record of breaching release and probation orders in New West, according to online B.C. court services.
In July 2010, he was sentenced to three months in jail for breaching a probation order in the same month he was given three years in jail for possession of stolen property, more than $5,000, and unauthorized possession fo a firearm.
Bornyk was previously sentenced a year earlier, in August 2009, to six months behind bars for three counts of breaching his probation order.
His New West track record also consists theft under $5,000 in May 2011 and resisting arrest during a break-and-enter incident in June 2002.
Bornyk is described as:
- Six feet tall
- 181 pounds
- Brown hair
- Blue eyes
