Man with history of theft, breach of probation in New West wanted

A warrant was recently issued by B.C. police for a 44-year-old man for theft under $5,000, an offence he's previously committed in New Westminster.

Martin Snowden was listed on Metro Vancouver Crime Stoppers' latest "most wanted" list today, Oct. 16, for theft of $5,000 or under.

A formal warrant was issued on Oct. 8, the organization stated in a release, with Chilliwack as his parole jurisdiction.

According to B.C. court services, Snowden was previously charged in New West for theft of $5,000 and under in August 2005. He was sentenced to four months for the offence.

As well, in June 2006, Snowden was charged for trafficking a controlled substance, receiving a nine-month probation and a 10-year prohibition on firearms.

Snowden is described as:

  • 170 pounds
  • Brown hair
  • Hazel eyes
