The sun shone brightly on Saturday, May 27, as the community came together to celebrate New Westminster's 153rd May Day at Queen's Park Stadium.
The New Westminster May Day Community Association held this year's celebrations featuring Chinese, Highland and Ukrainian folk dances along with traditional maypole dancing.
Alessia Preovolos was crowned as the city’s 152nd May Queen and Aiden Kim the Royal Knight Consort.
